At the beginning of this academic year we had workshops on After Effects and Animate, programs I hadn't used before. I learnt a lot during these workshops, particularly Adobe Animate. The first task was to create short gif of our name. It took a while to get to grips with the programs but after I learnt the basics it became easier to pick up. The name animation is pretty basic, but now I know the basics I can start to experiment more. The second task was to create an alter ego and animate it. I created this small gif using a graphic tablet, I'd never used one before so it took time to get to grips with, its hard to adapt to, but I am pleased with my efforts. Since then I have got a surface pro, which has made drawing digitally a lot easier. I have played around a bit with animate on my Surface pro and I hope to create some interesting animations.
